Arnold George Dorsey, better known by his stage name, Engelbert Humperdinck is a British music icon that seranded the world for over 50 years. Hailed as one of the greatest singers of all time, Humperdinck has over 100 studio, live, and compilation releases. He has also dropped countless singles, many of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Humperdinck notably sold over 150 million albums, making him one of the best-selling singers of all time. In 1967, Humperdinck dropped his breakout hit, “Release Me.” The song topped the U.S. chart and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200. The song is spawned from Humperdinck’s debut album, with the same name. The record, which entered the U.K. and U.S.’s charts’ Top ten, featured several more iconic singles, including the number 2 U.K. hit, “There Goes My Everything.” That same year, Humperdinck dropped another album titled The Last Waltz. The sophomore effort featured the number 1 U.K. hit, “The Last Waltz.” After this magnificent year in Humperdinck’s career, he continued to drop several more highly-acclaimed and chart-performing singles.

In 1968, Humperdinck released “Les Bicyclettes de Belsize,” which became the theme song for the popular musical film with the same name.
