This famous Mexican duo has been recognized in the music world with multiple Latin Grammy nominations and has collaborated with other famous musicians like Hans Zimmer with whom they worked on the score of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”. Rodrigo y Gabriela is famous for pioneering a style of acoustic guitar music that is unmatched by any other group. The acoustic guitar is pushed to the limits of what is possible and, in many cases, it is combined with other elements and sounds that open up new ways of playing this traditional instrument and of creating music that combines different styles in a unique and groundbreaking way.
