The Count Basie Center for the Arts welcomes one of the great blue-eyed soul singers of the late 20th century in a night brimming with blues, jazz, and smooth rock classics. Ladies, gents, let’s all give a warm round of applause to the legendary Boz Scaggs as he presents the grand conclusion of his “Rhythm Review” Tour, on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, LIVE at the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre!
Following his post-pandemic return to Asia last year, touring Japan in support of relief efforts for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, Boz Scaggs announced a new North American comeback tour that will see him visit over two dozen cities nationwide. Slated this fall, “Rhythm Review” showcases our star singer-songwriter in the perennial, multi-platinum glory of his greatest hits after the countercultural 1960s, where he played guitar with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller and his band. Join him in commemorating the turn of the 1970s! Grammy Award winner Boz Scaggs will perform hand-selected songs from an era-spanning solo career that first caught its big break in 1976 with the five-time platinum debut of Silk Degrees, also a Top 2 album on the Billboard 200.
From this milestone record, fans will enjoy the headliner’s highest-charting signature singles “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle,” which marked Scaggs’ momentous shift to soft rock melodies following the Gold-certified Slow Dancer of 1974. His sets will feature a rich gamut including R&B, jazz, pop, blues, and rock standards, sung in that laidback tenor you’ve come to adore across decades of airplay. Apart from his proto-disco breakthroughs, he will offer nostalgic Top 20 hits as well from the 80s period US Hot 100, such as “Look What You’ve Done to Me,” “Jojo,” and “Miss Sun,” rounded off by Top 40 runaways “Heart of Mine” and “What Can I Say.”
Boz Scaggs’ last stage in Red Bank is one rich in history, culture, and celebration of the arts. The Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre, situated within the Count Basie campus, lends the “Rhythm Review” Tour finale an intimately designed concert space, subjected to a $27 million expansion that elevated it to world-class standards. Book reservations soon and revisit a soft rock icon’s legacy through picture-perfect sights and crystalline indoor acoustics.
