Pink Martini All-Stars

A diverse group of people with eclectic tastes and sophisticated musical styles, Pink Martini is known for performing a wide array of classical, jazz and old pop styles. The band was formed in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale in Portland, Oregon. The band sings in 25 languages plus, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese and many more. Some of their most well-known and loved songs are "Sympathique (Je ne veux pas travailler)", or more commonly known as "Je ne veux pas travailler", which received great acclaim from fans worldwide, "Amado Mio", "Anna (El Negro Zumbon)", "Brazil" and many more. The band has fans of all ages and backgrounds, all who can appreciate their sophisticated melodies and harmonies and enjoy their many albums as well as their live performances where the band explores America's rich influences of music in every state. Many of the songs performed by this group of talented musicians are classically influenced pieces mixed with jazz and old-school pop.

Many of their songs are sung in a total of 25 languages and are written by all of the members of the band. Their most famous song to date is "Sympathetice (Je ne veux pas travailler)" which is also known as "Je ne veux pas travailler". This international hit song received a great deal of attention from music lovers all over the globe and really put the spotlight on this very talented and worldly band. Hackensack Meridian Health is proud to support The Hackensack Meridian Health theater at the Count Basie Center for the Arts. The theater is a small intimate setting located in the historic and downtown area of the Center in the heart of the city of Red Bank, NJ. The plush seating takes you up close and personal with the performers and you can see them and hear them in surround sound from every seat in the theater. The view from every seat is also incredible. With a seating capacity of 1,568 or so there are three levels of seating in the theater: the main floor, mezzanine and the balcony. Parking Information

No on-site parking is available for The Pink Martini All-Stars concert. Street parking and public parking lots are located throughout the downtown Red Bank area, and are within walking distance to the Count Basie Center. The many parking structures and lots, and metered on-street parking spaces, will provide convenient parking for all attendees if they arrive early enough to secure the closest parking spaces to the venue.
